This sounds like a fun, useful way 2 stay in touch with ur team - tho I can think of plenty of team members who would use it 2 abuse - saying things like "I am now on a potty break" hahaha.

What a great idea! I suppose that would make updating team members a lot faster and easier than using email, since you don't have to be right at your computer to communicate. More flexibility, I like it.

okay, so your thought is to use twitter to update team members on your progress on any given project. i guess that could be a good use, though wouldn't you then be receiving dozens of tweets from the rest of the team, as well? wouldn't that sort of interrupt your work flow? hmmm.

Our company has tried several apps on Twitter to help manage our business account. I haven’t tried all of these, but have tried several. We were looking for an all-in-one solution. Client + business tools + strong scheduler + team tweeting… and a few more things.

In my experience with two business accounts, the value of Twitter as a marketing tool corresponds to what your business does and how effectively you can create updates that are interesting. At the least, I suggest that any small business establish their Twitter and start following 50-100 users up front. This will fire an email notification, so at the least, someone notices your Twitter. If they are curious, they will continue on to your site (must include your website in your About info!) To make these visitors stick a little bit, I suggest carefully choosing who you follow.

I use a lot this networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and all. I once had some problems, I was looking for an insurance company, that would satisfy my needs and tastes, because I've been having troubles before with insurance companies and I found on Twitter and advertise about Performance bond. Without these sites I would have never solved my problems and I wouldn't have continued my chill life. Great article!
