With Twitter you have instant update on the table; everyone will know what you are up to, and everyone will know what you are doing. Last week, it was an ugly week for me, lots of deadlines and lots of fun too (doing something that it may change some people’s way of working… it’s beautiful, will talk about it when the client allows me. Kevin, thanks!) and some other things that are extremely interesting (Branden! it is a go!) and Twitter has helped me with the rest of my clients and people I work with during those days.

I think that there are a number of ways in which Twitter might be useful for business and as it develops and we as users develop with it. I have written about this a number of times on my blog.

I use a lot this networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and all. I once had some problems, I was looking for an insurance company, that would satisfy my needs and tastes, because I've been having troubles before with insurance companies and I found on Twitter and advertise about Performance bond. In my experience with two business accounts, the value of Twitter as a marketing tool corresponds to what your business does and how effectively you can create updates that are interesting. At the least, I suggest that any small business establish their Twitter and start following 50-100 users up front. This will fire an email notification, so at the least, someone notices your Twitter. If they are curious, they will continue on to your site (must include your website in your About info!) To make these visitors stick a little bit, I suggest carefully choosing who you follow.
